Precision heat treatment and surface engineering services for timely delivery, reliability and consistent quality performance for industrial applications.
Our in-house metallurgical laboratory ensures accurate quality control, microstructural evaluation, and hardness verification for all heat treated components.
DYNA-BLUE is a low temperature (510°C – 580°C),Ferritic thermo-chemical surface nitriding process that diffuses nitrogen and carbon into ferrous metals, that yields two metallurgical characteristics:
1) Epsilon Iron Carbonitride "Compound layer" that is supported by nitrogen-bearing "diffusion" zone.
2) Depending upon Material grade compound layer thickness that can be 2.5-50 Micron and has a hardness of upto 70+ HRC. A Nitrogen enriched diffusion zone layer can be 12.5-450 Micron.
The picture on the left shows 50 Micron compound (white) layer Supported by a nitrogen rich (dark) diffusion zone of 450 Micron. The graph on the right exhibits a typical microhardness traverse on H-13 with DYNA-BLUE NITRIDING CYCLE.
